Upon reading this title on The Guardian, I thought it was April Fools’ Day but unfortunately, it was not.

The university from Stanford created an algorithm that was able to “separate” gay and straight people from each other by just looking at photos. I’m using the word separate because I really believe that gays are already being targeted enough in the world and creating an algorithm could only make it worse. In some countries, they are still being hunted and then publicly announcing that you can create an algorithm for this, not the best more in my opinion. Although I can also see the benefit from the study, it still worries me more than the benefits it has.

Be sure to read this, as the success percentage is remarkably high or may we say even suspiciously high…
