Set An Alarm With Tasker

4

We all have to wake up in the morning, so I want to be able to give Jarvis a command to set an alarm. The video from Pocketables shows perfectly how to set the alarm.

For this tutorial, we will be using Tasker and Autovoice. But you also need to install the app: Alarm Clock Plus. Because you can completely customize this alarm You can also just skip the tutorial and download the profile at the end of the post. But we would strongly advise reading through the tutorial anyway.

State => AutoVoice Recognized => The Hard Way => tick box: Event Behaviour =>
Command Filter: set alarm at (?<alarmhours>.+) hours and (?<alarmminutes>.+) minutes  => tick box: Use Regex

Now for the task:

A1: Set Alarm [ Hours:%alarmhours Minutes:%alarmminutes Label: Sound: Vibrate:Default Confirm:Off ]

A2: Say [ Text:The alarm is set for %alarmhours o’clock and %alarmminutes minutes Engine:Voice:com.cereproc.William:eng-GBR Stream:3 Pitch:5 Speed:5 Respect Audio Focus:On Network:Off Continue Task Immediately:Off ]
